Beyond the Skein: Grand Opening and New Beginnings!

Hi , I'm thrilled to connect with you today!

I’m thrilled to share some wonderful news in this week’s update. Our store, "Beyond the Skein," is officially "soft" open for business! This journey has been an incredible learning experience, blending art and business in surprising ways. Striking the right balance between whimsical creativity and professional presentation has been a delightful challenge, but I believe I’ve nailed it.

Seeing my artwork on products designed to enhance your fiberarts journey is truly exciting. These items are created with you in mind, aiming to make your crafting even more enjoyable and fun.

During this project, my mental health was somewhat worrisome. From "imposter syndrome" to Murphy's Law—anything that could go wrong did, disastrously. At my lowest, I realized I had run out of my vitamin D supplement. After restocking, I felt a noticeable difference within a few days. I’ve never experienced something that had such a profound effect on my mental outlook.

Roadblocks are hard to avoid, but I'm still moving forward with the same vision: to create a community that can be used by anyone around the world in any timezone. The doors are always open to the Virtual Knitgroup space. I tend to hang out in my office while I'm working, so if you feel like a chat, feel free to drop in. AND...just for my cherished subscribers, a sneak peak at the new space I've created called "The Counting Room". You'll totally get it when you see it.
